Such a sweet puppy sleeping on a bed of straw.

So much has been going on this second week with the puppies as you can see from all the photos that will be posted.  The pups have been socialized with many different folks.  Children are especially important as they hold and interact with puppies in a different manner than adults.

The pups continue to eat, sleep, and grow :)  An exciting note is that some of the puppies started opening their eyes Saturday night (10/20/07).  They squint and move their heads around trying to see the new world they live in.  They also are trying to get up on all four wobbly legs and move around.

Ma Lokum is spending a little more time away from her puppies and exercises herself during these moments.  She is such a very good mom.
