Week 3 - May 15- May 21, 2008

The puppies left the barn this past week.  In the photo on the left ma is checking her pup to make sure I have all her puppies.  In the photo on your right, Inca is blowing her winter coat so she looks a bit ragged.  Pups are helping mom out by removing clumps of the coat.   

Inca wants so loving too and she certainly deserved it as she is such a wonderful dog.  If you notice some of her pups are taking the chance to sneak a sip from mom.

On the photo to your left is Nikki and her daughter.  Puppies, puppies everywhere.  On the right is Dinah holding one puppy while another one is at her feet and ready to be loved on.

This week the pups have been adapting to the outside easily.  There are many new sights, sounds, smells, temperature changes, rain, cold, wind and such.  Also, I have been driving the tractor around their pens and bush hogging the pasture.  This is a very loud noise and the pups learn to handle sounds.
