Week 7

12/3/08 - Today I have tried my best to get photos of the pups once they are finished with their goats milk.  They get it all over their faces, backs, ears, and necks.  This little pups has milk drops all over the face, top of the head, nose, and under the neck.  

I apologize for the color of the photos.  The camera is not doing a great job in regards to the true color of the pups.  The pups are fawn for the most part now with the black mask.  I need a better photo software program.       

12/3/08 - A few more shots of the pups drinking their milk.  

12/3/08 - These are a couple of cute photos of the pups finishing off the milk and they have eaten some dried kibble.  One of the Nubian goats is in the back pen.  The pups stick their heads through the fence and lick the goats and sheep on the faces.  

As you can see, the pups tails are starting to curl up over their backs.  These pups are so cute and plump.

Yesterday I saw a puppy licking several of the sheep on the nose.  Sure wish I could have gotten a photo of that.

 12/3/08  -  After they eat, the pups LOVE to play.  A little later they fall asleep.

12/4/08 - The vet came out & gave the pups head to toe physicals, their first puppy shots, and micro-chipped the pups.  She said the entire litter was happy and very healthy.  

There were also several folks out to socialize the litter today.  Dinah came out for her puppy fix.  Bobby (SAR) was out and socialized the pups as well.

12/4/08 - I really liked these photos even though the pups are blurred.  That is because they are VERY active.  In the photo on the left is Ma Lokum enjoying play time with her puppies.  On the right, Lokum is through playing but the pups keep right at it.  They get right in her face.  Lokum is correcting them with low growls if they go to far.

12/4/08 - Dinah came over for a puppy fix.  She holds each puppy.  In the photo on the left she is holding a puppy and the two on the ground want to play.  In the middle the little puppy says, "Iv'e got an attitude.  Look at me."  On the right is Bobby getting his puppy fix.          

12/4/08 - While Bobby was here, the girl pups decided they all wanted to take a nap while the boy pups played with Bobby.  They decided to sleep next to the pen with the Nubian does.

12/4/08 - In this photo there are the three males of the litter.  The girls are sleeping off to the side.
