Week 6 - May 12 - 18, 2008
The puppies left the barn this past week. In the photo on the left ma is checking her pup to make sure all is well. In the photo on your right, Yasemin is blowing her winter coat so she looks a bit ragged. Pups are helping mom out by removing clumps of the coat. Also, Jazz is teaching her pups how to drink out water out of the large trough. This week the pups have been adapting to the outside easily. There are many new sights, sounds, smells, temperature changes, rain, cold, wind and such. Also, I have been driving the tractor around their pens and bush hogging the pasture. This is a very loud noise and the pups learn to handle sounds.
