Week Two

March 27 - April 2

3/27/09 - The pups remained in the house due to the colder weather.  Ed will be here tomorrow to help me move them back to the barn.  They have been doing very well.  Eating, sleeping and growing as babies will do.  They have been handled multiple times each day for socilization.

3/28/09 - Mom and pups made the transition back to the barn today.  We put the pups on the heating pad.  Mom settled in and the pups started moving toward her.  She cleaned them and checked them over to make sure all was well.  Yasemin wanted to see in the basket that I brought the pups down in as she wanted to make sure there were none left in there and all were in the straw where she was.

 3/28/09 - In this photo, a noise caught Yasemin's attention and she is looking intently to make sure all is well.

3/28/09 - I thought this photo was cute.  If you look closely on the right there is a little pup curled over mom's front leg.  Then looking at the far left, there is a pup that decided mom's tail as nice, fluffy, warm, and a great place to sleep.

Photo - 4/1/09 - The pups are growing and getting very plump.  Love the pup at the top with the belly up.  Also the pup with the head over a sibling.  Pups are starting to open their eyes.
