The puppies were moved from the barn and outside into a pen yesterday 9/12/06. The pen size is around 2 acres. The pups are doing just great. They eat and sleep. Not much else at this time. We continue with socializing the pups by picking them up and loving them. We had different people over this week to help socialize.
Socialization of the pups to adults and children continues 9/17/06. I never worry that these dogs will guard their stock or family. That is natural instinct. They are socialized and we do many things so that they will do well in many situations. We give them a very good start.
Giving Momma Lokum some well deserved hugs ! This little boy is so sweet. I did not even have to ask him to pet or hug Lokum. He did it on his own. |
