About our planned litters of Turkish Kangal Livestock Guardian Dogs. 2008 Doga Farm's Lokum with Kahraman of Misty Acres - fall 0f 2008 with pups to new homes around late fall of 2008. This will depend on when Lokum cycles. Maverick (Kahrarman) and Lokum have had excellent puppies in the past with excellent temperament and working ability. Many of their puppies are doing excellent jobs working with livestock. Both sire and dam have excellent temperament & working ability that they pass on to the their puppies. Their pups to date are having excellent hip reports. Lokum is the dam & Maverick (Kahraman) is the sire of Zeki. Zeki has won multiple FCI European Champion titles in several European countries over the past year. He recently won Best Male dog at the prestigious Dortmund Dog show held at Dortmund Germany on May 2, 2008. We had the honor and privilege of attending the Dortmund dog show this year and seeing Zeki in action when he won Best Male. This past weekend he took another best of breed & CH title in Poland on 6/15/08. Zeki earned his FCI European Champion title 3/28/08 in Poland. He was awarded the following: Excellent 1 st, CWC, CACIB, Best male, Best of Breed and by winning this he is now nominated for the 2009 Cruft Show in England. Karahman is a wonderful, excellent, proven, stud that has been the sire of puppies with Penn Hip ratings of EXCELLENT. He is the sire of Misty Arces Aslan which still holds the BEST Penn Hip scores of ANY Kangal to date male or female. Misty Acres Aslan's Penn Hip scores are: .22 left hip & .22 right hip - EXCELLENT hips. We are now accepting reservations for pups from this litter. She has worked livestock everyday of her life since she has been on our farm as a small puppy. She is a beautiful and has excellent temperament. Yasemin is a proven dam that has produced wonderful puppies. So far all of her puppies have had excellent hip scores. She is the dam of Misty Acres Aslan which holds the BEST hip scores of ANY Kangal to date male or female. Misty Acres Aslan's Penn Hipp scores are: .22 left hip & .22 right hip - Excellent hips. Odaci's Safak is a FANTASTIC male. He is from very old, precious, and almost extinct working lines that date back toTurkey in 1893. Her sire is the FAMOUS Duman Dozer who has won Best of Breed and European Champion at Dortmund both 2006 & 2007. He is both Uncle & first cousin to Elisabeth vonBuchwaldt's Python Jr. He has produced excellent puppies with Yasemin. We are now accepting reservations for pups from this litter.
