The Ladies

9/23/09 - Each time I go outside to do chores, all my little goat gals rush to the gate and let me know that they are around and want my attention.  Sweet ladies.

We have spent as much time and effort locating our foundation Nubian does as we have our foundation bucks.  As with our bucks, we have chosen does from a few very nice herds across the country.  These does crossed with our foundation bucks have unlimited potential.  

Breed standards, pedigrees, and performance of the sires/dams, grand sires/grand dams, and so on were carefully considered when making our selections.   We spoke with as many previous owners as possible and spent hours upon hours researching lines.

We will be reviewing stock for the best blends on an on-going basis.  Our goal is to produce animals of quality that are easy to milk, have a high volume of milk production, and outstanding dairy character.

We owned several excellent does in the past who produced very nice kids for us.  These does can be viewed under Reference Does button.  Many we proved up ourselves and earned their championships.

We wish we could have retained them all but age, Ed's job, and health issues became a factor to us and we did not want to hold these boys back.  They were sold to herds that are:  Showing, on DHIR, and/or have LA's done on their stock.  They are gone but will never be forgotten.
