Week Three April 3 - April 9
4/3/09 - The pups eyes are open now but they continue to eat and sleep all the time. This week the pups should become more active and start moving around more. They continue to grow larger and are very healthy. They should begin eating on their own some this week so will be started on goats milk. We have been doing some work in the barn such as hammering etc. Plenty of loud noise for the pups as well as the goats and sheep making their usual sounds as well. 4/4/09 - The pups are so cute when sleeping. Their heads are changing and they are starting to look more like pups. The group had split into two yesterday with seven little pups in the group on the left and three in the group on the right.
4/7/09 - The pups are starting to move. Getting cuter every day.
4/8/09 - Sorry for the blur but it is a cute shot. Holding the pups each day. Such hard work.
4/9/09 - In the three photos above, a neighbor came over to help socialize the pups. He and I spent a long time holding each pup several times, turning them to their backs, and petting them until they fell asleep in our hands.
