All went well.  In these photos the pups are moments old. Lokum is honestly the BEST and most CAREFUL mom I have seen.  I expected no less as she is the most serious livestock guardian dog you can imagine.  Lokum tries her very best to step around the puppies when getting up or laying down.

 

 I had a hard time trying to get an accurate count as Lokum keeps curling around the puppies or they keep moving when I try to place them so I can count them but there are 8.  There are 4 males and 4 females.  

 

They will go to the vet Thurs of this week for physicals and to have dew claws removed.  They are fat and happy.  Nothing wrong with their appetites.
