This Kangal list is privately owned.  The group is dedicated to sharing the common interest of living with, preserving, and promoting this rare and magnificent breed of dog.  The purpose has been to provide a gathering place for Kangal Enthusiasts.

It is a list for people who own Kangal Dogs which are livestock guardians, companion dogs, therapy dogs, show dogs, tracking dogs, etc.  The list also welcomes those who are trying to find out more about this wonderful and highly intelligent breed of dog.

A USER FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT is provided where members of the list can gather to learn, chat, share ideas & photos, and take an active part in the lives of each others dogs.  It is a safe place to where members can feel comfortable asking the simplest questions.
