Yesterday Inca bred with Safak whelped out. Inca just could
not understand why I would not let her whelp in the sheep pen in the
barn next to the Karakuls. After all, that is where she is the most comfortable and
feels at home. Also, since her mom whelped in the sheep hut, why
couldn't she whelp out in a pen next to her buddies ??

I would put Inca in the pen in the barn several pens down as it has
a door on it. I have been using the pen by the sheep to store used
straw.

I would get a puppy and be drying the little one off (it was around 32
degrees) and there Inca would be, sneaking off down the aisle with
her pups trying to set up her nest right next to the sheep.

This went on several times and then I finally was able to drag over
a panel and block the pen near the sheep. She really was not happy
with me for that. Gave me that Kangal look if you know what I mean.

Then, to top things off, Inca had taken out a skunk the night
before. So, to say the least she does not smell very good. Know
how hard it is to get skunk off a dog - LOL !
