Tie is 43 inches from ground to withers and is around 300 lbs. This is an UN-OFFICIAL measurement. We are more than pleased with this very nice buck. He is a very gentle giant. Black Tie is a proven buck that produces very large, tall, long, elegant kids that have a very good general appearance, grow rapidly, and have strong medials. Tie brings height, dairy character, and helps with teat placement. He adds smoothness in the front end and stature (or uphill look), he adds more width in the rear. He has several daughters that have placed in the top 10 at the Nationals. Black Tie complimented the offspring from Prince Valient for us very well. The cross strengthened the type and dairy character I got from Val and add even more udder support which is already great coming from Val. Tie made a big impact on our herd. BlackTie July 14, 2003
