Fifth Week

Today (9/28/06) was a very busy day for the puppies. We had some children over again to play with the puppies. We had about 30 minutes of sun and were able to get a few out into some of the pasture to play around. We also are making temporary changes in the front of the hut and a small grass play area for the pups.

Hum, this green stuff feels so GOOOOD !

The children had so much fun playing with the pups the other day they came back for more. This time bringing another friend with them. I love the photo where the little pup is being held upside down and the little pups back legs are sticking straight up in the air.

I really loved this photo. Two of the children are playing with the pups. The third child stopped playing for a few moments to pick flowers :) Children are so sweet.

In this photo you can see we took down the little panel from the front of the hut (can be seen in a previous photo) and brought it out so Lokum still has a place to go in and out to be with her pups. We have put up a temporary fence in from of the hut so the pups can see what is going on around the farm. They can come and go out of the hut as they desire but the are contained so they can't wander far from the hut.
