The information below on the World Dog Show is a direct quote by Elizabeth Von Buchwald - owner of Ceylan. 

"The World Dog Show 2003 in Dortmund (Germany) can only be described with superlatives. Twenty thousand dogs entered, 150 thousand spectators over 4 days ,12 huge indoor halls, etc etc.  

There were 22,000  ASD/Kangals ,from France, Luxenburg, Sweden ,Germany and Holland .  Best Dog was the beautiful Swedish Kangal dog "Seacop Atilim" bred by Pat Broadhead who (the dog) also was BOB (best of breed) at the prestigious Crufts in march this year.

Best bitch, BOB, and World Winner was Elizabeth's 4 years old bitch Ceylan.
In the written evaluation of the judge Mrs. Annika Ultveit-Moe from Sweden, she said about Ceylan:

" Big, very strong, a top quality champion bitch, excellent head and pigmentation, perfect bit, excellent front ,very good angulations ,strong back, beautiful carriage of neck and tail, in full coat, very good side gate, all together an outstanding bitch."
