Wild Rose Kangal Buffy Meet Buffy the predator slayer. She is a Purebred Sivas Kangal Kopegi. Kangal Dogs - "Are a National Treasure of Turkey, to be respected and preserved." Buffy working the sheep (on your far left) 5/31/08. Buffy will be our first Kangal that will be our house/companion dog. All our other Kangals are outside on the farm and have or are working livestock. We are already enjoying her company and she has certainly stolen our hearts. She is well socialized and LOVES children. She has made fast friends with our Rattie Dallas who has been the only dog in the house until now. Ed plans on working with Buffy on tracking in the Chicago area. I would like to earn her Canine Good Citizen's award and hopefully Ed will be able to work her all the way through advanced training. She is already enrolled in puppy classes at 10 weeks of age and we are starting conformation classes as well. We plan on showing Buffy at UKC conformation events. Update on Buffy 5/10/08. Buffy is also going to be a livestock guardian dog. She is taking to working sheep like a pro and we are very proud of her. She will also be shown and in the house some as well but she LOVES being with the sheep and learned quickly.

Buffy & Dallas are buddies. They certainly enjoy each other & share everything - 2/25/08. Buffy is twelve weeks of age in these photos and weighs 27.8 lbs.
