Sheila's list of books on the breed.

If anyone obtains these books for their reading pleasure, please keep in mind that many of the stories in these books refer to the Kangal dogs as Karabash and others just refer to the dogs as yellow dogs with black heads.  There are no references to Kangal dogs as a breed prior to the 1980's in the texts and this is NOT politically acceptable by the Turks.  They are Kangal dogs.
