Arkadas Photos

These three photos of Arkadas with this Alpine buck were taken 3/26/07. I wanted to post them as I think they are so very nice and tell a tale without words. This buck LOVES Arkadas DEARLY as you can see if you look at the photos. Arkadas is his Kangal.

Arkadas 2006.

In these photos taken 12/7/06, Arkadas is snugged in and standing guard over a very large Nubian buck Jules. Jules is curled up behind Arkadas in these photos.

We have been hearing a lot of coyotes at night. They yip and howl all night long. I sleep well knowing my livestock have Kangals watching over them. The coyotes do NOT come on our place with these dogs on guard.

In this photo the buck that Arkadas guards is in the feeding hut eating hay and pellets. Arkadas takes up the watch while "HIS buck" eats his food. Jules never needs to worry with Arkadas around - 12/2/06.

In this photo if you look very closely you can see Arkadas in the back of the hut behind Jules. Jules is no small buck. Arkadas sticks with him 24/7. We know Jules is safe with Arkadas on guard - 12/2/06.

Arkadas is one very special boy. He is probably the most favored male dog on the farm. These photos were taken 7/10/06. In the first photo he was calling out in his own special way to me - his Ma. The second shot is a nice side shot. He is certainly an awesome male.

Arkadas is an awesome male. He is good with any livestock that we have tried him with.
